Chartreuse Green Vintage Mirror Belt

Mirrored textile remnants are repurposed into tribal mirror belts. The mirrors, held in place with hand embroidery, are thought to ward off evil spirits. Tribal belly dancers like to use these textile pieces as belt bases, bra trim, or headpiece bases. Shisha mirrors are a great way to add a traditional look to your tribal costume and they sparkle and shine on stage! Small white seed beads are stitched all over this awesome chartreuse green and pink belt base. A variety of coins embellish the bottom edge. Five mirrors are missing. Four mirrors are cracked and/or broken. India.
