This type of armlet is usually worn just above the elbow by village women in Rajasthan, India. Adorned with fabulous metal beads and a lot of cowrie shells, this is authentic tribal wear with lots of character. Some of the metal beads on the arm band are coming loose, but can easily be stitched back into place. A string is used as a closure for the bracelet. India.
