Uzbek Saye Gosha

Saye gosha were originally used as bedroll decorations by the Uzbek nomads. Tribal belly dancers use them to adorn their hips for a lot of swing and color. The top piece is black crocheted cotton. The silk tassels are decorated with colorful caps, metal beads, seed beads, and wrapped threads. There is minor damage on the crochet work and one tassel is missing. Uzbekistan.
