ABOUT SILK ROAD TRIBAL
Silk Road Tribal is a woman-owned, small business specializing in ethnic
jewelry, costuming, and textiles for the tribal belly dancer and is owned and
operated by Katherine Erickson. Katherine has had a life-long passion for
jewelry and textiles. In 1998, after a trip to India, she dreamed of owning
an ethnic jewelry and textile shop. It wasn't until several years later, after
she discovered tribal belly dance, that this dream came true in the form of
Silk Road Tribal.
Customer satisfaction is Silk Road Tribal's top priority. Katherine listens
to her customer's wants and needs and then seeks to find for them those
unique, one-of-a-kind, affordable treasures from exotic locales around the
world.
She enjoys knowing her customers personally and helping them with their
costuming needs. As a dancer and third-generation artist she has artistic
skills and creativity that she shares freely with her customers to help them
with their costuming creations.
