Vintage Beaded and Embroidered Tribal Guls

Posted by Silk Road Tribal on 7/15/2015 to Just Arrived
Vintage beaded and embroidered guls have been salvaged from old Baluchi dresses and textiles. They are commonly known in the region where they come from as gul i peron or dress flowers.

They are colorful little works of art that showcase the Afghanis skilled handwork.

These old tribal beaded rounds are a great addition to any tribal belly dance costume and tribal belly dancers love to use them on belts and headdresses.

New Arrivals - Vintage Tribal Coin Belts

Posted by Silk Road Tribal on 7/6/2015 to Just Arrived
Vintage Kuchi tribal coin belts are the real deal and loaded with old coins.

Some of these belts were actually used for equestrian purposes and were used by Pashtun nomads to decorate their horses. They were sometimes worn slung across the body bandolier style.

Tribal belly dancers modify them to use as belts or they take them apart to use the coins for decorating other parts of their costuming such as tribal belly dance bras and headpieces. If you need a lot of coins that match these belts are the perfect way to acquire matching or similar coins.

These old tribal coins are also a fantastic component for any jewelry project.
